Author Bios

Shelby is the Managing Director of Marriage Matters Jackson and an experienced presenter. She is a certified Pick-A-Partner instructor and is a trained facilitator of Prepare/Enrich. Shelby is a 1996 Spring Arbor University graduate. She and her husband Drew married in 2002, and have 3 beautiful children.

Amy is MMJ’s Development Director. She and her husband Todd have been married since 1995, and have 2 children. She’s a ’94 graduate of Adrian College and holds a masters degree from Eastern Michigan University.  Amy is also a certified facilitator of our Marriage LINKS workshops.

Kylee is the MMJ Project Manager.  She organizes quality marriage education workshops led by outstanding facilitators for Jackson county (MI).  Kylee’s originally from MN, but moved to MI by ways of SD and OK, naturally.  She’s been married to Mark since 2005 and they have a daughter, Mae.

Jaci is the Marketing Coordinator of MMJ.   She manages our social media sites, SEO, graphic design, website and market research.  Jaci is a proud Spring Arbor University grad with a B.S. in Advertising and Public Relations.  She and Brandon married in August, 2008, and have two dogs, Jazmin and Shoelace. 

Liza is the Marriage Education Manager and plans fun Date-Your-Mate events and workshops. She has been with MMJ since 2009, after graduating from Western Michigan University with a B.S. in Family Studies, and is currently pursing her Master’s Degree at Spring Arbor University. As documented on the blog, Liza recently married the love of her life, Nick, this past July.
